Simply put....facial hair is a necessity when artistically reflecting on the current fashions of the hipster society. Granted women can't grow facial hair, but without a doubt, every hipster girl would be sporting one if humanly possible. Plaid: The pattern & the addiction.

Without a doubt, plaid shirts are common upper-ware for most hipsters of both genders. However, this constant trend of plaid shirts is by far more popular within the male half of the spectrum.

These plaid shirts come in a variety of colors. But as far as the hipster culture goes, we see darker colors mainly.
